Plain terms for using this website.
Last updated: June 13, 2026. These terms apply to the VibeChex website, general information, and preliminary scope requests. Paid work should be governed by a signed proposal, statement of work, master services agreement, NDA, or other written agreement.
Legal review still matters. These terms are intentionally simple startup-stage terms and are not a substitute for advice from qualified counsel.
Using the Website
You may use this website to learn about VibeChex, contact us, and request a preliminary scope conversation. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, or submit unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.
Preliminary Conversations
Emails, calls, estimates, and scope discussions are exploratory unless we both sign a written agreement. We may decline work that is outside our expertise, creates unacceptable risk, or does not fit our business.
Engagement Terms
Reviews, audits, implementation support, advisory work, and other services require written scope, pricing, payment, access, confidentiality, and delivery terms. If a signed agreement conflicts with these website terms, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
Your Responsibilities
- Only request work on systems, code, infrastructure, and accounts you are authorized to review.
- Do not send passwords, API keys, tokens, PHI, cardholder data, customer records, source code, or confidential materials through the initial website or email request.
- Tell us when regulated data, production systems, payment flows, or third-party restrictions may be in scope.
- Make your own business, legal, compliance, and launch decisions.
No Compliance Certification
VibeChex can identify technical and operational gaps that may matter for security, reliability, privacy, and launch readiness. We are not legal counsel, a Qualified Security Assessor, a CPA/auditor, or a certifying body. We do not certify HIPAA compliance, issue PCI assessments, provide SOC 2 attestations, or make legal compliance determinations.
No Guarantee
Security and software reviews reduce risk but cannot prove that a product is secure, compliant, bug-free, profitable, or ready for every use case. Findings are based on the information, access, scope, and time available.
Intellectual Property
You keep your product, code, data, trademarks, and confidential materials. VibeChex keeps its tools, templates, report formats, workflows, know-how, and pre-existing materials. Ownership or licensing of custom deliverables should be stated in the signed engagement terms.
Confidentiality and NDAs
We support mutual NDAs when sensitive information needs to be shared. Do not send sensitive information until confidentiality and access expectations are clear.
Third-Party Services
Our work may reference third-party tools, scanners, hosting providers, payment processors, observability platforms, AI tools, or security services. Those services are governed by their own terms, pricing, and limitations.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, VibeChex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from website use or preliminary conversations. Engagement-specific limits should be handled in the signed agreement.

We may update these terms as the business, website, or services evolve. The updated date above will show the current version.
